Talking yesterday with old friends visiting with us from Connecticut at their cottage in York, ME  when the topic of local food came up and she said that for her family, busy with twins and both mom and dad working, she enjoyed buying at “Dream Dinners”. This a shop/kitchen one goes to and, having planned on the web a day before, is A. given a brief lutorial on how to prepare a certain set of different menus, B. Prepares from the store’s ingredients, several freezer bags of raw ingredients for each menu, C. places them on their own assigned deep freezer rack. At the end of the session takes home many different meals. These meals are ready to cook fresh at home. Take the package that you preped at the “Dream Dinners” shop whenever you want and thaw and make a fresh [ and easily] cooked great meal.

Proof: Tuscan Chicken over fettuchini with artichokes, tomatoes, basil and garlic. I had seconds. Maybe some one will start something like this locally in Newburyport, Amesbury, or Salisbury?
