Nice article by Sonya Vartabedian today in the Daily News about the plans for 9 local chefs to pair with local farms at the first Farmers Market Dinner. Friday night, in a tent under the stars, in Newbury at the Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. LFN appreciates it when the media covers local food topics. Growning and preparing our excellent [...]

Local on-line and print journalist and political “news hound” Gillian Swart blogs about this opportunity to help win $5000 to promote our Newburyport Farmers Market. They tasted great raw as a ‘nibble’ sliced in little wedges and salted washed down with a Corona/Lime. They kind’a taste like a mild radish with a [...]

Looking forward to the SEEDLING FAIR this weekend and FYI the Newburyport Farmer’s Market has added a ton of new additions to its list of vendors. They have more farms, and lots of artists and craftsfolk being posted soon as well, but here’s a category that caught my eye.
