		<description><![CDATA[Maple syrup has been made here since before the First Settlers landed in Newbury. The Natives knew and made Maple Syrup. Often they drank the sap &#8216;as is&#8217; as a beverage. It has lots of zinc , iron, and sucrose which gave needed nutrition after a long New England winter.
