The more I think about the culture and habits of the ‘Old Yankees’ of New England the more I become a ‘Yankee Fan’. I think environmental and Transition advocates might want to emulate the old Yankee ‘Foxes’. Here’s a slighly edited note I received this morning from a great local Yankee Farmer, Dick Chase of Arrowhead Farm: The new Rail Trail in Newburyport which runs from the Merrimack River’s edge near Michael’s and Mr. India in a straight line over, under and through Newburyport to the Train Station is really looking good.
